Cassie's Origin:
Cassandra was born from a contract releationship between League Assissins Lady Shiva and David Cain. Shiva, one of the top ranked assassins in the world at the time and still to this day, entered the contract in the hopes that Cassandra would one day kill her and take her place as the "New Lady Shiva." Cain's motives seemed to be to complete the project of breeding and raising the perfect assassin for the League to follow.

When Cassandra was 8 years old she took her first life. A crooked businessman that Cain had been hired to kill. He decided to finally put her to the test. Though she pulled off the kill to perfection, Cassandra was shocked as she watched the man die in front of her. Cassandra was raised to read body language. When she killed the man she saw everything about his death and it was described as "Terror and then... nothing."

Horrified by what she had done she ran away from Cain and hid on the streets of Gotham City as an urchan. Growing up she was striken with awe over the ominous hero of Gotham, the Batman. She would not resurface until an Earthquake splits Gotham City down the middle creating a "No Man's Land." Cassie took this opportunity to do what her new hero would do. Save people. Oracle noticed her saving lives and recruited the young girl, eventually allowing her to dawn the name Batgirl and eventually be trained in the ways of crime fighting by her ideal mentor.

Cassandra maintains an estranged relationship with her father, Cain. A releationship that was even more hindered when Cain was found to be the culprit behind the murder framing of billionaire Bruce Wayne. Though Cain's treatment was harsh and mythotical at times even the hard boiled assassin cannot shake the feeling of loss and abandonment when he lost his child to another parent figure. Cassandra, though angry she was raised as a killer, still has fond memories of a father. Reguardless if they were simply training sessions, both can agree it's the closest thing either of them had to a family. Because of this feeling Cassandra distances herself from others to hold on to that exclusive feeling as long as possible.

Cassie's life was riddled with complexities and triumphs throughout the years. Content with the idea that she alone would be replacing Batman once he died or retired (a prospect Batman himself believed) she vigorously persued her goal of being a hero rather than a hired killer. However reality caught up with her time and time again as she had to face off against her own mother (though she didn't know it at the time) Lady Shiva. Her first encounter was almost her last as Shiva delivered a killing blow but resucitated her soon after. Shiva showed a strange interest in her that Cassandra couldn't unerstand. Almost grooming her for her own plans. After years of playing games with Shiva, Cassandra began to suspect the truth and took on a great journey to find out just who her mother really was.

In her quest she discovered that Cain had not only been training her to be an assassin, but the leader of the LoA and her destiny to be the New Shiva. She also discovered in the League home base "Wildchild." A crazed loner assassin that turned out to be her half brother, Cain's failed first attempt at the perfect assassin. Though Batgirl was able to defeat Wildchild she died from injuries sustained in the battle... She was once again resurected by Shiva, through the use of the Lazarus Pit. Following her revival Shiva and Cassie squared off one last time. Cassandra won leaving her mother dangling from a hook atop the Lazarus Pit that saved her life moments ago. In the end she could not kill her mother, not entirely. After finding herself like never before Cassandra abandoned the role of Batgirl and went to the streets again to find direction.

Much to the dismay of her friends and teammates Cassandra did resurface again as Batgirl. This time she was in league with the Titans East lead by the hitman Slade "Deathstroke" Wilson. Slade had taken the oportunity to brain wash and drug Cassie of the course of a year turning her into the assassin she had always been groomed for. In her mind-controled state she took the lives of two other people. Nyssa Al Ghul, the estranged daughter of Ras Al Ghul, and Bombshell, a fellow Titans East member.

Luckily the drug that was controling Cassandra was the same one he used on his daughter Rose. A drug that Robin (Tim Drake) had developed a cure for incase Slade ever tried to brain wash his daughter again. After the drug was counteracted Cassies teamed up with the Teen Titans to put an end to Slade's Titans East. However it was not all a happy ending.

Shattered with dismay Cassie realized she had committed the unspeakable act of murder TWICE while under Slade's control. With this weight on her shoulders she decided to pursue the mission of justice that Batman upholds. However she has decided to do so far away from Gotham. Following her instncts and her heart she brought herself to Anime City.

Moves

Both members of Dead Silence are highly skilled and trained assassins.  They are trained in most every martial art known to man from Krav Maga to Judo to Tae Kwon Do. Each of them use these techniques to the best of their situations.

Quick Strikes    Open Palm Strike;  Side Elbow Strike;  Scorpion Finger Strike(fingers pointed outward strengthened by each other, usually used on soft tissue areas like the neck);  Rising Knee ; Round House Kick;  Forward Side Kick;  Shuffle Side Kick;  Sweep Kick;  Spinning back hand;  boxer jabs and right hooks
Spring Board Drop Kick – Vaulting to the top rope and coming off with a brutal double drop kick to the face of her opponent
Cape Faint – Using her cape as a distraction Batgirl can hide where her next strike Is coming from
Flip Toss – Flipping over her opponent she grabs his/her shoulders and uses her flipping momentum to launch her opponent as she spins to a perfect landing
Handstand Frankenstiener – Throw with the legs using her hands as balance on the ground!
Cape Glide – used to let her float wall over the full distance of the ring and even entrance ramp, but only if proper height is achieved.  Used best with “Shoulder Vault” with X–23.  It offers her an advantage to strike her opponent.

Kill strikes: Trained as an assassin Cassie can use killing blows with the best of them.  However she has since erased them from her repitour but still using these as threats and submissions.

Tiger Claw – The first move she used to kill her first ever victim.  She grabs the internal carotid artery with claw formed fingers before pulling the artery right out of the victim’s neck guaranteeing death.  This move has been proven useful at subduing criminals such as Two Face… so long as the last step is not performed.
Mule’s Kill – When opponent is down pulling up on one or both arms and stepping down on the Adam’s Apple (or center of the neck for a woman) and applying pressure until death.  This is also effective for interigation and intimidation and subduing/submission.
Nerve Pinch – There are 4 nerve pinches that Batgirl can use to incapacitate or kill her victims.  One in the upper thigh, one at the base of the neck, one on the Achilles Tendon, and one on the base of the skull.  Each can be used to paralyze or kill given the right pressure

Weapons (from her utility belt): Though her belt holds all sorts of sophisticated gadgets supplied by her mentor, Batgirl is notorious for not utilizing her arsenal and opts to fight things out with fists.  But these gadgets she tends to use a little more regularly at least:

Bat-a-rangs  – Batgirl uses these as a projectile weapon to stun her opponents as well as effectively disarm them.
Bat-grapple – A small but powerful grapple–line with little to no sound when jettisoned.  She can use this for evasive action or use it for a temporary detainment of the enemy.  She also has a back up manual grapple which is basically a Bat–a–rang with a cable attached incase the powered grapple fails.
Bat-Cuffs – A set of titanium fiber hand–cuffs.
Smoke Bombs – She has a set of small marble sized pellets that spray a liberal amount of smoke that she can use for cover!
Laser Cutter – Used as tool more than a weapon this can be used for all sorts of situations where something needs to be cut and quick
Exploding Bat-a-rang – Used carefully as this is a dangerous weapon.  This Bat–a–rang is wired with plastic explosives that goes off once a connection is made with a target.  This has proven useful when subduing Meta–Humans.
